Learning by DOING focuses on your kinesthetic intelligence ie. the actions that you do, and the emphasis of the strategy is during the process of learning. This pedagogy maximizes Behaviorist theories, in addition to Cognitivist and Constructivist theories.

Learning by MAKING also primarily utilizes your kinesthetic intelligence but it focuses on the product of the learning activity ie. the outcome. This pedagogy maximizes Constructivist theories, in addition to Behaviorist and Cognitivist theories.

Learning by DESIGNING focuses on creativity in problem solving in a systematic iterative process, where the key objective is to define the barriers, then find the “why”, “what”, and “how” to overcome those barriers. This pedagogy maximizes Constructivist theories, in addition to Behaviorist and Cognitivist theories, but since design usually implies group synergy, Connectivist theories also play a key role.
